Aura is made of 100% Polyester, which means that there is minimal shrinkage when washing your curtains. Because Aura is unbacked, it falls and gathers well. This creates a cosy and well-put together finish to your interior.
Because Aura is unbacked and has a generous weight of 350gsm, only a light lining is needed. However, this will not guarantee 100% blockout. For maximum privacy, you can easily pair this curtain with our 100% blockout lining. Unless your curtain fabric is a sheer and used for aesthetic purposes only, linings are always needed to be paired with curtain fabric to protect from UV rays and general wear and tear.
Synthetic fabrics, such as Polyester, are an affordable option for curtains. They are sturdy enough and look good in their draping and gathering. The most appealing quality of Aura is that it withstands wrinkling and is easy to wash.
Aura is also double width, which means that the amount you may require for your window dressing may be less. This is always best to check with your seamstress before ordering.
